Berawal dari remaja yang hoby dengan dunia seni musik dan pernah mencoba beberapa aliran . Pada pertengahan 2007 band polyphonic mulai terbentuk. Arti dari polyphonic sendiri adalah berbagai banyak suara, Polyphonic rasta company ingin menyajikan musik yang terdiri dari berbagai banyak suara dan mudah di cerna.
Setelah mencoba berbagai aliran musik, mereka akhirnya memutuskan untuk mencoba musik reggae. Setelah Polyphonic biasa manggung di kafe-kafe atau acara musik di indoor ataupun outdoor, akhirnya Polyphonic memutuskan untuk terus fokus di jalur reggae.
Selang waktu beberapa tahun menggeluti dunia reggae, pada awal 2010 akhirnya Polyphonic membuat karya diantaranya :

- Nikmati saja
- Berbagi rasa
- Pesta rasta
